Looks like XPlay is to blame for the latest video game info leak, we now know a small sliver of the tracks that may or may not be part of Rock Band 2. Since Rock Band 2 was just announced I would assume nothing is final yet and these may just be place holders but here’s a screenshot and the list of RB2 Exclusives:
- “Panic Attack” – Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)
- “Chop Suey” – System of a Down
- “Give It Away” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
- “Everlong” – Foo Fighters
- “Kids in America” – Kim Wilde
- “Ace of Spades” – Motorhead
- “Hello There” – Cheap Trick
- “Anyway You Want It” – Journey
- “Pinball Wizard” – The Who
Tape Shows woman Dying on Hospital Waiting Room Floor
A 49-year-old woman collapsed and died on the floor of a waiting room at a Brooklyn psychiatric hospital and lay there for more than an hour as employees ignored her, according to the New York Civil Liberties Union, which on Tuesday released surveillance camera video of the incident.

White House Blocking Search for Bin Laden?
The Pentagon has drafted a secret plan that would send U.S. special forces into the wild tribal regions of Pakistan to capture or kill Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, but the White House has balked at giving the mission a green light, The New York Times reported today.

AT&T announces iPhone 3G pricing plans
You know, I was going to get an iPhone definitely on July 15 (I’ll be in Seattle until then), but looking at these prices, I’m not so sure anymore. Is it really worth it to pay ~$50 more a month than my current bill for comparable service with an iPhone 3G? I get 1000 anytime minutes, 400 text messages and unlimited VOIP all for $74/month. To get around the same service, I’d have to pay $126/month (I multiplied by 1.2 to get all the taxes added in there). That’s an extra $600/year, when I could just call any of my clan members for directions when I’m lost in downtown manhattan. Here’s the breakdown:
| Price | Voice | Data | Night and weekend | Additional minutes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $69.99 | 450 | Unlimited | 5000 | $0.45 |
| $89.99 | 900 | Unlimited | Unlimited | $0.40 |
| $109.99 | 1350 | Unlimited | Unlimited | $0.35 |
| $129.99 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | N/A |
| Price | Text messages |
|---|---|
| $20 | Unlimited |
| $15 | 1500 |
| $5 | 200 |
Will the Quantum Computer kill the PC?
“But now I am far more optimistic. It has been a huge surprise for those of us in the field. I believe that in 20 years at the most, quantum computers will be used in everyday life on people’s desktops.”
Yes. Yes. Yes.
PS3 Firmware 2.40 Brings You Home the Gold – Joystiq
Nobody tell Nexus6 but the new Playstation 3 firmware will now track your progress and give you nice little gold Trophies to display. Will they actually unlock stuff or will they just show how much of a bad-ass you are at getting that Ultimate Rape Trophy in GTA4, oh wait that can’t be real right Sen. Slossberg? Anyway or resident achievement/trophy/upgrade maniac Nexus6 so far does not have a Playstation 3, if he did, there’s no telling how much gold Sony would be slinging his way. But low and behold Sony is bring you and me and everyone else some nice little shiny things to show off at your next LAN party.
GH: Aerosmith = EPIC FAIL with RB Guitars – Joystiq
Once again Activision pisses on the masses as the newly released Guitar Hero: Aerosmith does not work with Rock Band guitars. WHY?!?! Seriously, I’ve talked about this before, why do I need 9 different plastic guitars to play a music rhythm game? Well no buy from me or my Clan as we all have or will have RB, that’s 4 lost sales right there Activision. Remember when those financials come out later on, it’s not the pirates that sunk your ship, it’s your own thickheadedness, BITCHES!
ICANN to allow almost any domain suffix
The new naming process will begin in 2009. The first suffixes will probably be given to businesses and other major organizations. Countries are expected to keep their specific suffixes, but, as in the example above, cities could also get individualized URLs, such as .london or .chicago.
