American’s too stupid to name their babies
Yes I’m looking at you, you who names your kids Fayth and Destany. Next I know you’re going to have Accadent. Cause the first 2 kids were faith and destiny, but the 3rd was just an accident.ÂÂ
Giant Microwave Turns Plastic Back to Oil
http://science.slashdot.org/science/07/06/27/2324207.shtml
It is not working. I put a AOL CD in my microwave oven and it turned directly into fire.
Using an AOL CD was your first mistake. They are not made of plastic, the are forged of pure evil.
even better! do you know how many mpg you can get on PURE EVIL?!?
Only 5 MPG. Running over old people and firing the cannon really slows you down.ÂÂ
Christians vs. Atheists: Increasing Hostility
http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/062407/met_179684416.shtml
“It’s been an alarming trend with the atheists trying to take religion out of our daily lives,” said Michael Hardee, a Jacksonville resident and Church of God member. “The crosses and the Ten Commandments being taken out of buildings is part of a giant wave watering down our way of life and beliefs.”
But many atheists see it differently, proclaiming instead that it is they who are the targets of rising faith-based hostility.
“It seems there’s been a resurgence of discrimination against people who are non-religious,” said Earl Coggins, a Jacksonville atheist and founder of the First Coast Freethought Society. “This country just seems to be getting to the point where if you’re not religious, you’re a second-class citizen.”
Hands-on with T-Mobile HotSpot @Home
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/06/27/hands-on-with-t-mobile-hotspot-home/
So far, the national carriers have failed to deliver any solution — let alone a usable one — so how does T-Mobile stack up? In brief: setup was a snap, the phone’s basic but well-designed, GSM / WiFi handoffs were hit or miss, and for ten bones a month, it seems like a square deal.
