Blab about yourself instead of hiring someone else to do it for you
Do It Yourself PR – Guy Kawasaki Blog
Nobody knows if Charlemagne could read because an advisor always read aloud for him. It was considered humbling for the king to do anything himself. The same fears drive the most captivating, articulate entrepreneurs to hire publicists. Who wants to risk looking like a fool? As a result, hardly anyone in technology ever tries to talk to a journalist by herselfâ€â€except Guy Kawasaki, of course.
When Pushed, Killing’s As Easy As Breathing! – See What John Rambo Means!
The footage we have for you is something that Sly put together to show distributors and folks at Cannes… but, he wanted to see what you Talkbackers thought about what he had for us. So – for 2 days, this footage will be hosted here on AICN. And then, I’m taking it down. But I watched this with a group of about 15 friends tonight and when… you’ll see… happens, and then, it keeps happening – we were screaming and applauding and being so happy to see RAMBO doing the shit Rambo was created for. THIS ISN’T WATERED DOWN, THIS IS TURNED UP.

Grass + Concrete = Grasscrete
The green view from Beijing – CNETNews.com
Is it grass? Is it concrete? No, it’s Grasscrete, an environmentally sustainable alternative paving system used to create footpaths while leaving room for greenery. It will be part of Olympic Forest Park in northern Beijing, a multimillion-dollar, 680-hectare space being built for next year’s Olympic Games.
Do ISPs really have the capacity for VOD over the internet
Will ISPs spoil the online video party? – last100
With an ever greater amount of video being consumed online, many Internet users are in for a shock. There’s a dirty little secret in the broadband industry: Internet Service Providers (ISPs) don’t have the capacity to deliver the bandwidth that they claim to offer. One way ISPs attempt to conceal this problem is to place a cap of say 1GB per-month per user, something which is common in the UK for many of the lower-cost broadband packages on the market.
MS Longhorn back from the dead?
Windows ‘Longhorn’ Resurrected and Available for Download – Softpedia
It lives! Windows Longhorn has been resurrected and is available for download. Microsoft unveiled Longhorn back in early 2002, as the operating system designed to succeed Windows XP. However, the 2002 Windows Longhorn and the January 31, 2007 Windows Vista are not one and the same operating system. I am sure that there are still some of you who recall August 27, 2004, the day when Microsoft announced a scale back and a reset of Longhorn in order to make the then planned 2006 deadline.
100 words you better know if you have your GED!
100 Words Every High School Graduate Should Know published by Houghton Mifflin Company
The editors of the American Heritage® dictionaries have compiled a list of 100 words they recommend every high school graduate should know.
“The words we suggest,” says senior editor Steven Kleinedler, “are not meant to be exhaustive but are a benchmark against which graduates and their parents can measure themselves. If you are able to use these words correctly, you are likely to have a superior command of the language.”
