Firefox’s Most Underutilized Feature
Firefox’s Most Underutilized Feature – XYZ Computing
The most convenient way to use keyboards is to access your bookmarks. If you have a lot of bookmarks, or you hide them away in folders (or in folders that are in other folders), than rather than reaching for your mouse try entering a keyboard command. All you have to do is right-click on the bookmark, enter into properties, and in the appropriate area add in a keyword of your choosing. Next time you want to go to that site just use the keyword- it is the fastest way to get where you are going.

Weird Japanese Deep Fryer Aquarium
Japanese Deep Fryer Has Aquarium Within – OhGizmo!
A fully functional aquarium that exists… right inside a deep fryer. No, no… let me explain this right. See, you have this aquarium with real live fish, and then, sitting right on top, is piping hot oil (163 Celsius) that is actually used to cook food. Since the water and the oil don’t mix, all the fish have to do to stay alive is not venture into the hot oil on top
Make a wallet out of your keyboard!
Wallet made from a computer keyboard
In all likelihood there is a keyboard within a few feet of you. Inside that keyboard there probably is a circuit sheet that makes for a surprisingly durable and thin material for making a wallet.
Why? In taking apart electronics i find uses for most of the parts. Things which can not be reused go into scrap piles for recycling. But these sheets couldn’t be easily reused and probably can not be recycled. I tried using overhead transparency sheets that had been printed on for a customized clear wallet pattern but the sheets mark when folded or creased. These circuit sheets are extremely durable.
New Civic Type R sees light in Japan
Honda launches the Civic Type R sedan in Japan – Autoblog
Come Friday, March 30, the new Civic Type R will go on sale in Japan. Based on the current Civic 4-door, the Type R is powered by a screaming, normally aspirated 2.0-liter four cylinder (K20A) that eclipses 100 hp/liter, producing around 225 ponies at 8,000 rpm and 159 lb-ft of torque at 6,100 rpm.. A six-speed manual transmission feeds power to the front wheels — 18-inch units shod with a set of Bridgestone Potenzas.
AppleTV plugin plays movies from network shares
AppleTV plugin that plays movies – AwkwardTV
ericIII from the AwkwardTV crew has created a plugin for the AppleTV that, like Sabertooth’s plugin, hooks into the main ATV GUI. However, this one plays videos, and sports a (for now, hardcoded) list of .AVI files that are not located in the Media Library.
This proof of concept demonstrates just how easy it is to make your custom player.

There’s a new web browser in town for Windows Mobile fans that goes by the name Deepfish. It runs technology borrowed from Sea Dragon, the imaging engine behind Photosynth.
It’s free and you won’t have to wait for an update to be pushed out through your cellular carrier to get it,
