Check out the Republican National Committee’s new ad that tries to scare the American public into voting for them.  I think the RNC should focus more on what they have done to curb terrorism than what the terrorists want to do to us.  Most of the educated American public (and not so educated) understands that these “terrorist killers” want bad things to happen to us.  The problem with the Republicans is that they don’t have anything solid to say “hey, we did things to solve this problem”.  In fact, they have probably made things worse, as our reputation abroad steadily drops, along with our civil liberties.  Now if only the Democrats could stop pointing fingers at the Republicans and actually come up with ideas to fix these issues, that would be a nice change of pace.  I wouldn’t bet on it though…
