“You hit the ball and catch the ball, but sometimes you don’t catch the ball,” said Sarah Blue, who is five.

“I don’t normally catch the ball,” said her teammate Madison Brinkman, also five.

“Sometimes we have a girl run in the wrong direction. Sometimes they’ll pick flowers,” said Brenna Hebert, coach of the Diamond Divas.
