This is ridiculous. The whole concept of live is the same as a mmorpg. pay to play. not cool at all.
Yes and no, while an MMORPG you are signing up with the knowledge that it’s going to be a monthly payment for added content each month/quarter/whatever. Micro transactions break the traditional game model of everyone on a level playing field. And Live players get double f’d since they not only pay monthly, they now have to pay for extra weapons, which should just be included in the game, and if these weapons are not different than the standard set, see BF2 unlocks, why the f’ are you going to have/pay for them to begin with.
