Adieu to the true audiophile?

Adieu to the true audiophile? - CNET

Music today is a commodity–ripped for free track by track, or bought for 99 cents and eventually added to a vast digital library, either destined to become a favorite, or more likely forgotten for good after a couple of listens.

Mostly because all we have today is crap played on the radio, no dynamic range, and throw the iPod fanboys in and it’s compressed all to hell. Remindes me of the 128kbps = good enough for me debates. Lossless + Klipsch Horn Tweeters = FTW!
