It’s still free to pee at BK in Houston, but you’ll need to buy something and get a free token first.

A city ordinance says it is “unlawful for any person to make a charge for the use of a toilet maintained in a place open to the public or to a substantial part of the public.”

Larry Schenk, a senior assistant city attorney, said the Burger King restroom locks do not violate the ordinance because the restaurant provides free tokens to patrons.
