Was 1984 the greatest year in movies ever?

I mean COME ON the list reads like a god damn sapm email! Spinal Tap, Friday the 13th – The Final Chapter with Corey FUCKING Feldman, Indiana Jones, Gremlins, Karate Kid, Conan, Ghostbusters, Red Dawn, C.H.U.D., Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Terminator, Nightmare on Elm Street, Beverly Hills Cop and Breakin’. You would have to be a damn moron to not think this was an epic year.
