Wattgate 381 “Audio Grade” Socket Is For Suckers Only

I love me some Stereophile and see this shit all the time. I like how one person commented that they were stock outlets for $14.30 but then had gold plated mounting brackets. And if that wasn’t enough “if” that breaks the UL listing and if your house goes up in smoke your insurance may not cover it! WIN WIN audiophiles.

This brings back memories of that LP demagnetizer we had on here. I can understand washing your LP’s I mean they get dirty and the needle is constantly scraping a plastic surface, but demag HA! Where are all you golden ears at?!?! I’d say just go with hospital grade outlets if you want to be really fancy. Oh and don’t forget to redo your power cables to hospital grade as well.
