Where’s the into on the resolution? Looks 800×600 or 1024×768 at most. Not to hate but this just seems like it would look really out of place in most installations and if you have the $$ to spend on it and the right decor you probably already have a better setup than this could provide. Though I do see it useful as a video display next to your wall of carded figures playing old school hasbro commercials.

and there’s a DVI port, so it’s most likely HD
negative, it’s not even 720p it’s extended def or whatever term they use for not-HD but accepts HD and is greater than 480i but less than 720p. Real resolution out of R2D2 is 1024×768. For $3k I would rather have a Sanyo PLV-Z2000 and pocket the extra grand.
yeah, but you can’t drive a Sanyo PLV-Z2000 around the living room.
I wonder how many D batteries he takes to be free rolling. Probably a few deep cycle marine batteries.
