The timing of the ‘Pirates of the Amazon‘ launch could not have been more (un)fortunate. At the busiest time of the year for on- and offline retailers, this Firefox browser add-on offers users a download link to pirated copies of products that can normally be found in the Amazon online store.

When the add-on is installed, it integrates a new “download 4 free” button into the Amazon product page when the same article is also available via The Pirate Bay.

Now this is how you do a bundle, first a nice big box to house everything in, some damage from UPS but it seems like everything I get these days from them is crushed in some way. Next up is the schwag.

Here’s all you get, all very nicely packaged, everything except the t-shirts came in their own box or envelope with the same 4 Track Era tape logo on them. From left to right it includes 2 sheets of stickers, a black 4 Track Era Tape Logo t-shirt, a white graffiti 4 Track Era Tape Logo t-shirt exclusive to this bundle, the 4 Track Era bonus mix CD exclusive to this bundle, DJ Shadow buttons and the complete 3 CD 4 Track Era set. This was a limited run, mine is 83 out of 200 and is long since sold out on DJShadow.com. If more artists and movie producers alike would start to push this kind of detail and care into their limited edition releases consumers would start to take notice. This was bundle was more than worth the $124.99 that it cost even more so that it is an extremely limited run.

It’s the little things like the logo imprinted on the separate envelopes and boxes that hold each item that make this bundle stand out. This was a insta-purchase for me and normally I would say go buy it, but unfortunately you missed out.
